Madeline Behrens-Brigham: A New Nest, A New Chapter On View: January 9 - February 22, 2018 Reception: Wednesday, January 10, 5-7pm
After thirty years in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco, mixed media artist Madeline Behrens-Brigham is finding her new voice in the welcoming art community of Santa Rosa. As a child, Madeline was fascinated by the leaves, twigs, fabric, buttons and other ephemera found on her paternal grandmother's Illinois farm during summer visits. Now, the rural countryside of Sonoma County for the past two years has offered comforting memories of her formative art years.
