2018 General Municipal Election

The next regularly scheduled General Municipal Election for the City of Santa Rosa will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  The even-numbered Council District seats 2, 4, and 6 will be up for election starting in November 6, 2018. Current at-large council members will remain seated until November 3, 2020, when the remaining four odd-numbered Council District seats will be up for election.  Under Santa Rosa's new district-based election system, voters may only elect one council member for the Council district they are registered in.  Learn more information about our transition to the District-Based Election System.
