Franchise Transition
Recology is now the recycling, organics, and solid waste service provider for Santa Rosa. There is no need to cancel services with your previous provider and to register with Recology -- Recology has that part handled for you. You can expect a smooth transition, as your service days will stay the same without any interruption. During the coming weeks, you will receive more information regarding services and billing.

Low-Income Program

In Santa Rosa, low-income households may be eligible for a 15% discount. Participation in the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) CARE program qualifies you for Recology’s low-income rate program.

Simply mail or email Recology a copy of your most current PG&E bill showing participation in the CARE program. Sign up by 2/28/18 in order to receive credit for your first billing statement. Documentation provided after that date will be applied to the billing cycle in which the documentation is received. The name and address on your PG&E account must match the name and address on your Recology account. Please note that you may be asked to verify annually.
