Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks is committed to providing the community with endless opportunities to play. Whether it be to exercise, learn, connect, compete, engage, or maybe even discover a new hobby, we invite you to explore the sports courts and fields that Santa Rosa has to offer. Events on athletic fields and courts must align with the specific athletic or sport function for which the facility was designed.

Bocce


Juilliard Park is our main location with 6 courts, there are also 2 courts located at Demeo Park. Learn the fascinating outdoor bowling game of Bocce. Come by Julliard on Sunday afternoons or visit the Sonoma County Bocce Federation website at www.sonomacountybocce.org for more information about how to join the fun league play.

Horseshoes


Located at Doyle park we have 16 Horseshoe courts. Sonoma County Horseshoes Pitchers Club is seeking new members. Those interested in pitching horseshoes for fun and relaxation are encouraged to take part. Sanctioned by the National Horseshoe Pitching Association, the club participates in tournament schedule with other clubs in Northern California. Weekly meetings on Tuesdays, 5 - 7pm at Doyle Park. Pickleball


Four Pickleball courts are located at Finley tennis courts on court #3. Beginner instruction available Monday-Thursday from 10-11am. Extra paddles available for newcomers. Four Pickleball courts are also located at Howarth tennis courts on court #6.

Skate Park


Located at Youth Community Park. Bring your own equipment. Protective equipment required while using a City skateboard facility (13-24.079). Protective equipment includes helmet, knee pads and elbow pads suitable to provide protection in the event of falls or collisions.

17 total soccer fields located at these Parks:

Tennis


Galvin Park has 11 public tennis courts, and 4 Quick start courts on court #9, with courts #5 and #6 rebuilt in Summer of 2014. Howarth Park has 6 public tennis courts. Finley Park has 3 public tennis courts. All courts are first come first serve unless there are classes or a permit on the court. Censored lights allow for tennis play until 10pm at both Galvin and Howarth Community Parks tennis courts. To reserve a Tennis court for league play, tournaments, private lessons, or clinics, email activityguide@srcity.org.   

Volleyball


Located at Finley Park we have 2 ADA Accessible, outdoor, Sand Volleyball Courts open to the general public during normal park operating hours.
