Community Development (Building, Land Use)
The engineering division reviews street and utility improvement plans for compliance with applicable design standards and regulations. The engineering division also inspects project construction to assure conformance with approved grading, drainage and storm water management plans.  

Utilities (Water and Sewer)
The Engineering Division of the Santa Rosa Utilities Department provides long range planning, design, review, and construction management of water and wastewater projects within the urban growth boundary.

Public Works (Streets)
This division designs, inspects and administers the City's capital improvement projects including street widening and reconstructions, sidewalks, traffic signals, street lights, storm drains, sewer and water.
