This year, the Tour of California will occur on a work day – Monday, May 17. Stage 2 begins in Davis and riders are expected to enter Downtown Santa Rosa sometime after 3:00 p.m. With over 100 of the world’s best cyclists participating in the race, it should be an exciting finish!

We’re expecting a huge crowd of spectators – which means increased traffic (pedestrian and vehicle). Much of the Downtown area will have road closures and some parking garages will be unavailable or have limited access. Be sure to check the TOC website (srcity.org/toc) for times and locations of these closures.

The website also has lots of information about the race, including Team BMC interview videos and a video highlighting the Stage 2 route.

Two festivals begin at 11:00 a.m. – the Lifestyle Festival in Courthouse Square, and the Santa Rosa Festival on Third Street between D and E Streets. There will be fun activities for the whole family.

Then, join the crowd for an “After Party” on Fourth Street beginning right after the race! The party will feature entertainment, delicious food and drink, and an opportunity to celebrate the Tour of California.
