Puzzle Hunt

Get your team together and search downtown Santa Rosa for clues in this brainteaser of a puzzle. The Downtown Santa Rosa Puzzle Hunt is inspired by a growing national interest in participatory community games.

Teams compete by racing to solve puzzles, with prizes going to the fastest teams. Some puzzles involve finding a location and noting information found there, others may involve word play or local history. The puzzles are divided into an initial round of approximately 15-20 questions and one metapuzzle that draws on the answers to the initial questions.  Teams may take as much time as needed or desired within the Puzzle Hunt hours (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).  You are not required to hunt the entire time.  In fact, you are encouraged to take breaks at any of the great dining/drinking establishments in the Downtown!

The first annual Santa Rosa Puzzle Hunt happens Saturday, April 5, 2008. Here’s the schedule for the day. More detailed information may be found here: srcity.org/puzzlehunt
