Mayor Seeks Applicants for Task Force
Mayor Scott Bartley is creating a special task force to study important public policy matters related to open government.
THE DUE DATE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO TUESDAY, FEB. 18, 2014 AT 5:00 PM.
The Task Force will review applicable law, City policy and practice, and related information in order to develop a final report that will inform the community about the current status of open and transparent government practices in the City of Santa Rosa and to present options for additional best practices that the City Council may wish to consider.
The City is seeking applicants from all regions of Santa Rosa, including neighborhood associations, faith-based communities, schools, community-based organizations and the business community. The 11-member committee will be comprised of two members of the City Council; two members representing the City’s Boards and Commissions; and seven members from the community.
