Still time to Donate...the deadline has been extended to Dec. 14th!

Dear Santa Rosa Residents,

Last year, the City of Santa Rosa’s Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) set a goal to provide 100 Santa Rosa families with a delicious holiday meal.  With the generous support of local businesses, City of Santa Rosa employees, and community members, we were able to exceed our goal and serve 140 deserving families a fresh, healthy holiday meal.

As you are well aware, the economy has yet to improve and many families are facing another holiday season full of hardships.  People in our community, in increasing numbers, are struggling just to get basic meals on the table.

We know from the great success of last year’s “Happy Holidays” Dinner that together, we can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.  This  year, the NRP team is preparing to provide 200 Santa Rosa families in the Roseland, South Park, and Aston Avenue neighborhoods with a delicious holiday meal.

To make this happen we need your support. We are gathering food donations and financial support from local businesses and community members.  You can sponsor a meal for $50, a half-meal for $25, or contribute an amount that works for you.  Whether you contribute $1 or $50, all donations will help provide a family with a delicious holiday meal.   Please return the attached form with your cash/check donation (made payable to the City of Santa Rosa) to Shirley Stevens, Department of Economic Development and Housing, 90 Santa Rosa Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 by December 14st.  “Happy Holidays” dinners will be delivered during the 3rd week of December.

Please give generously to help feed deserving families.  Together we can make a positive difference for families during this holiday season.

Thanks for your support.
