Santa Rosa Mayor Ernesto Olivares is seeking applications from interested citizens to fill one volunteer position on the following Board:

Cultural Heritage Board (one position)

The Cultural Heritage Board conducts surveys of structures, buildings, sites, etc. that may qualify or be eligible for landmark or preservation designation; designates landmarks and preservation districts; makes determination on restoration, rehabilitation, alteration, development and demolition; and maintains a current register of all landmarks and preservation districts.

The Cultural Heritage Board typically meets on the first Wednesday of each month.

This appointment is for the remainder of a four-year term expiring December 31, 2012. Applicants must be residents of the City of Santa Rosa and must be registered to vote.  Applications are due in the City Manager’s Office by 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012.
