City of Santa Rosa Solar Projects

Currently, the City has installed 5 photovoltaic (PV) systems totaling 131 kilowatts (kW) which together are conservatively estimated to be producing approximately 200,000 kWh of green energy each year. The City also has Two other projects which are currently in the works, that will add an additional 85+ kW and reduce the City's GHG emissions even further.

Laguna Treatment Plant

This array generates approximately 33,400 kWh of energy annually and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 11.7 tons annually.

Municipal Fueling Station

The array is connected to the lighting meter at one of the City's Municipal Service Center and provides enough energy to accommodate their daily lighting load.

Alpha Farm

This 31 kW photovoltaic solar array at Alpha Farm is significantly off-setting the power costs and reducing Green House Gas (GHG) emissions by 18.55 tons annually.

Station 4

This array is estimated to reduce CO2 emissions by 79.24 tons annually.

Bennett Valley Golf Course

This is a 21kW system on the roof of the new Bennett Valley Golf Course Club house that is LEED Silver Certified. Website coming soon!
