RESOLUTION NO. 24213
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA ACCEPTING THE BID OF EAST BAY FORD TRUCK FOR THE PURCHASE OF 3-AXLE CAB & CHASSIS VEHICLES
WHEREAS, bids have been invited for the purchase of 3-axle cab & chassis vehicles for the City of Santa Rosa; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened in accordance with law, and the Director of Administrative Services has made his report thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the report of the Director of Administrative Services and as a result, has concluded that the bid of East Bay Ford Trucks, Oakland, California, in the amount of $410,554.32 was the lowest responsive and responsible bid received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Council accepts the bid of East Bay Ford Trucks in the total amount of $410,554.32 and authorizes the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order for same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council authorizes the Director of Administrative Services to pay all claims for this purchase out of account numbers 3016 and 1387.
