ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA AMENDING SUBSECTION (B) OF SECTION 21-03.110 OF THE SANTA ROSA CITY CODE TO INCREASE THE TIME PERMITTED FOR EXTENSIONS OF ALLOTMENTS

THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.  Subsection (B) of section 21-03.110 of the Santa Rosa City Code is amended to read as follows:

"(B) The Director of Community Development may extend the validity of allotments about to expire at the end of a calendar year for up to 150 calendar days in order to complete recordation of a final map. In order to grant an extension the Director must find that the applicant has seriously pursued the submittal of all necessary materials and has responded on a timely and diligent basis in making corrections. No extension beyond 150 calendar days shall be allowed."

Section 2.  The provisions of the amendment of subsection (B) of section 21-03.110, set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance, may be applied to all extensions of allotments in effect on the date of the adoption of this ordinance and to all initial extensions thereafter granted by the Director of Community Development.

Section 3.  The adoption of this procedural ordinance is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act in that the Council finds that it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that implementation of the provisions of this ordinance may have a significant effect on the environment.

Section 4.  This ordinance, following its publication, shall become effective upon the expiration of 30 days after the date of its adoption.
