ORDINANCE NO. 3711

ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA AMENDING SANTA ROSA CITY CODE, TITLE 20-ENTITLED ZONING, FILE ST04-005

THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.  The existing Santa Rosa City Code, Title 20, entitled Zoning contains various typographical errors, omissions and missing clarification and as such is proposed to be corrected throughout, inclusive of the recommended modifications made by the Planning Commission on January 13, 2005 as contained in the Exhibit A.

Section 2.  The corrections and modifications as proposed have been determined exempt from CEQA under the general rule, which states that projects which clearly have no impact may be deemed exempt. The proposed changes are consistent with City policy and the Santa Rosa General Plan and will not have an impact on the environment.

1. That the City Council declares that it has reviewed and considered the contents of the foregoing amendment to the text of the City of Santa Rosa Zoning Code.

2. That the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves and adopts the City of Santa Rosa Zoning Code Text.

Section 3Severability.  If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid and/or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.

Section 4Effective Date.  This ordinance shall take effect on the 31st day following its adoption.
