ORDINANCE NO. 3531
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3526 FOR A PERIOD OF 10MONTHS AND 15 DAYS.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Santa Rosa (the Council) adopted interim Ordinance No. 3526 as an urgency measure on July10, 2001. On August 7, 2001, the Council, in accordance with the provisions of Government Code section 65858(d), issued a writtenreport on measures taken to alleviate the conditions which lead to the adoption of Ordinance No. 3526. On August 21, 2001 theCouncil held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with the requirements of Government Code section 65858(a). The Councilhas considered the testimony, materials, and reports received at the public hearing.
Section 2. The Council hereby expressly readopts and makes the findings and determinations set forth in Sections 1, 2 and 3 ofOrdinance No. 3526 and incorporates those findings and determinations herein by reference to the same effect as if they were setforth hereat in full.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 3526, including, without limitation, Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, thereof, is hereby extended and shallremain in effect for a period of 10 months and 15 days from the 44th day from the date of its adoption on July 10, 2001.
Section 4. All fees paid under Sections 4 and 5 of Ordinance No. 3526 shall be paid to the City of Santa Rosa and shall be used bythe City for the development of housing affordable to households of low and very low incomes. Such housing may be made subject toconditions, as may be established by the Council, to insure its continued availability as housing affordable to lower income householdsand for such period or periods of time as determined by the Council.
Section 5. Based on the findings and determinations identified, readopted, and made in Section 2, this ordinance is necessary and isadopted as an urgency measure and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
