• Chair Hilberman read aloud the Design Review Board Statement of Purpose to clarify the Board’s purview for the public.

• There being no further public comment, Chair Hilberman closed the public hearing.

• Architect Gerald Navarro gave a presentation.
• Target Representative Kevin Abaugn gave a presentation.

BOARD COMMENTS

1. The board is concerned the proposed blade sign element will set a precedent that is outside the Design Guidelines.
2. Explore pedestrian access from Range Avenue and Edward Avenue.
3. Consider security issues for corridors on east and west sides, especially for after hours.
4. The 13 foot sidewalks are encouraged.
5. Consider additional site features: benches, tables, bicycle racks, bollard lights.
6. Explore landscaping materials to soften screen wall at truck dock.
7. Consider solar tubes.
