Convene The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Rosa met in regular session at 12:16 p.m. on the 29th day of August, 2011, in the Conference Room 1, City Hall Annex, 90 Santa Rosa Avenue, Santa Rosa, California

Roll Call

Present: Chairman Lemke, Commissioners Arnone, Burke, Castro-Herrera, and Gonzalez. Absent: Commissioners Harris and Olsen. Also in attendance Economic Development and Housing Director, David Gouin, Economic Development and Housing Manager Nancy Gornowicz, Legal Counsel Molly Dillon, and Recording Secretary Shirley Stevens.

Public Appearances

Bill Carle, Legal Counsel, Southwest Community Health Centers, regarding 983 Sonoma Avenue: informed Commissioner of $650,000 federal grant awarded to his client for operating funds on condition of being operational in 120 days from August 15. Site at 983 Sonoma Ave. was included in application. If not operational on time, grant will be lost. Would move if Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital would pay $240,000.

At 12:24 P.M., Chairman Lemke announced the closed session:

Negotiating Party: Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital (Mich Riccioni, CPA, FHFMA)

Under negotiation: Price and terms of payment for the potential sale, exchange or lease of the property, and potential disposition and development agreement.

Reconvene to Open Session

Reconvened to open session at 1:32 p.m. Chairman Lemke announced that the Authority met in closed session regarding Item 4 as listed on the agenda and reported as follows:

There was a discussion of property negotiations and further instruction was given to Authority negotiator.

Adjournment

With no other business to come before the Housing Authority, Chairman Lemke adjourned the meeting at 1:33 p.m.
