SOUTHWEST REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA BUDGET CONTINGENCY RESERVE POLICY |
Kim Nadeau made the staff presentation. The Redevelopment Agency maintains contingency reserves for emergency requirements and obligations accruing on a current basis that will be paid in the future. The general practice among public agencies is to maintain a reserve fund sufficient to meet financial obligations for a period of time in case of a disaster or economic uncertainty. A proposed Contingency Reserve Policy for the Southwest Redevelopment Project budget has been drafted for the Agency’s consideration.
Moved by Mr. Arnone, seconded by Mr. Olsen, carried 3-0-2-0 (Mr. Evans and Ms. Lemke absent), to adopt and waive the reading of the text as follows:
