DEPARTMENT REPORT

Erin Morris stated that Elnoka DEIR is being circulated as of today and will be available for public review for 55 days ending on February 3, 2010.  She also gave an update on the Fountaingrove Lodge Project stating that the project was resubmitted in November and the project should be back before the Planning Commission in February.

PLANNING COMMISSIONER’S REPORT

Chair Duggan reported on her attendance at the Sonoma State Planners Conference.

Chair Duggan stated there was a request to continue Item 8.2, Commissioner Allen stated his support to continue.

Curt Nichols of Carlile Macy representing the applicant stated he was available for questions regarding this request.  

Commissioner Bartley motioned and Commissioner Cisco seconded to pull this item from the Consent Agenda for further discussion with all other members of the commission voting in favor.

Commissioner Bartley made a motion and Commissioner Cisco seconded to continue the project to a date uncertain.

The motion carried with the following vote:

PUBLIC HEARING – CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT – BURGER KING – 56 Mission Circle – Proposal to renovate and install a drive-through to allow drive-through retail sales and extended hours at a principally permitted fast food restaurant – File Number MNP09-017

Commissioner Caston made a motion and Commissioner Poulsen seconded to approve (with added conditions regarding operating hours) Resolution 11499: RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA MAKING FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS AND APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE BURGER KING RENOVATION AND DRIVE-THROUGH, LOCATED AT 56 MISSION CIRCLE – FILE NUMBER MNP09-017
