NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cultural Heritage Board will hold a Study Session with the City Council at the Council’s regular meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue.

2. STUDY SESSION – PARKING POLICY WITH DONALD SHOUP
Donald Shoup, Ph.D., will present his research on parking policies to the Council, other boards and commissions, and interested members of the community. Shoup is a Yale-trained economist and professor of Urban Planning at UCLA. He is the author of the award-winning book “The High Cost of Free Parking” and has made a career of analyzing how cities can best address parking concerns throughout a community. This item is for information purposes only. The Council may discuss, comment upon, and ask questions concerning these matters. No Council action will be taken.
