How To Report Flooding Problems 

The City of Santa Rosa provides services for public drainage systems within the city limits except for Sonoma County Water Agency facilities. If your property is outside of the city limits, please call the County of Sonoma for public drainage services.

Drainage Design Criteria for New Developments

Public storm drain system improvements are designed in accordance with the Sonoma County Water Agency "Flood Control Design Criteria Manual for Waterways, Channels and Closed Conduits". Standards for private storm drain systems are set by the City Community Development Department and are based on the Sonoma County Water Agency Flood Control Design Criteria.
