The City of Santa Rosa’s Sewer System consists of 535 miles of sewer main ranging from 4” up to 66”.  The Laguna Wastewater Treatment Plant (located on Llano Road) takes the wastewater from homes, businesses and industry located within the city of Santa Rosa along with the other partners in the Santa Rosa Subregional Water Reuse System.

The Sewer System is cleaned and maintained by the Wastewater Collection Cleaning crews, is inspected and televised by the Inflow and Infiltration crews and repaired by Local Wastewater Construction crews. The Sewer System also maintains 17 Wastewater Lift Pump Stations

The City of Santa Rosa Utilities Department maintains a Customer Service/ After Hours Truck.  This truck responds to all sewer emergencies reported by the public.

Emergencies:
We have emergency on-call service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Our goal is to respond to calls within a 30 minute time-frame, or less when possible.
