Landscapes have been thriving on Santa Rosa's recycled water for over 30 years. In 2007 approximately 6,400 acres in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park are being served by this valuable resource. Plans are underway to dramatically increase the number of sites using recycled water, so that in 2010 we may have double the number of landscapes using this supply.
Public sites using Santa Rosa’s recycled water for landscaping include Finley Park and A Place To Play in Santa Rosa, Sonoma State University, and most public parks, golf courses and school grounds in Rohnert Park. These pictures give testimony to the high quality of landscapes that result from using recycled water in our community.
