Water Waste Ordinance

The City of Santa Rosa adopted this ordinance in 1999 to prohibit water waste due to unattended open hoses, broken irrigation heads or lines, plumbing leaks, and excessive irrigation running off property or spraying on sidewalks or gutters.

To report water waste please call our Water Conservation Program at (707) 543-3985. Water waste complaints may also be emailed to the Water Conservation Program please provide the date and time of the water waste occurance, street address, and a brief description of the problem).
