The Utilities Department is responsible for providing a safe and economical water supply for municipal, industrial and fire suppression use. It provides wastewater collection and treatment for the City and is the managing partner for the Subregional Wastewater Treatment Plant providing treatment, disposal, reclamation, industrial waste inspection and laboratory services to Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Sebastopol, Cotati and the South Park County Sanitation District.
