The Santa Rosa Board of Public Utilities has proposed water, recycled water and wastewater rate increases that would become effective in January 2012 and January 2013.  Rate increases will be considered by the City Council following a public hearing.

Public Hearing Date:  Tuesday, December 6, 2011
Publc Hearing Time:  At or after 5:00 p.m.
Public Hearing Location:  Santa Rosa City Council Chamber, City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue, Santa Rosa

An agenda of the December 6 meeting will be available on December 1, 2011 at http://ci.santa-rosa.ca.us/government/council/Pages/default.aspx.

At the public hearing, all persons will have an opportunity to speak to the Council.

Service charges are comprised of two components:  1) a fixed monthly charge based on customer meter size, and 2) a user charge based on the amount of water used or wastewater flow generated each billing period.  The City is proposing the following service charge increases for water, recycled water and wastewater for 2012 and 2013:
