Tennis Information

Recreation & Parks works closely with the United States Tennis Association/Northern California and Sonoma County Junior Tennis Association to offer you a great variety of tennis programs for all ages and abilities.  All tennis lessons are held at Galvin Park and are under the supervision of tennis pro Jason Beard.

Horseshoe Pitching

Sonoma County Horseshoes Pitchers Club is seeking new members.  Those interested in pitching horseshoes for fun and relaxation are encouraged to take part. Sanctioned by the National Horseshoe Pitching Association, the club partipates in tournament schedule with other clubs in Northern California.  Facility is located at Doyle Park in Santa Rosa.  Weekly meetings on Tuesdays, 5-7pm at Doyle Park.  For more information, call Casey Sluys at (707) 538-3128

Bocce Ball

Learn the fascinating outdoor bowling game of Bocce.  Come by the courts on Sunday afternoons or visit the Sonoma County Bocce Federation website www.sonomacountybocce.org for more information about how to join the fun league play.
