Recreation Sensation at Lincoln








Recreation Sensation is back this summer! Come join our day camp that runs for seven weeks during Santa Rosa City School’s summer break, open to youth ages 6-12  Child MUST be entering grades 1 thru 7 in the upcoming 2015-2016 school year. The program is open to Santa Rosa residents only and children must meet the grade requirements listed above.  (Please bring verification, such as a current report card, showing your child is currently enrolled in a Santa Rosa school).

Camp staff plan a different theme each week incorporating games, sports & fitness, crafts and field trips into the weekly schedules. Exciting presentations and activities are delivered by a variety of community organizations with fun topics like animal demonstrations, environmental education, safety, and Creek Stewardship. Youth also participate in classroom academics such as math, science, social studies, art, writing and reading so they stay fresh and ready for the school year. The USDA Summer Food Service program offers free lunch and breakfast for all youth under 18 at each Recreation Sensation school site from 8:30-9:00am and from 11:30am-12:30pm.  

Dates:  June 15 - July 31, Monday - Friday [Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday]

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm [Wednesday camp hours:  8:30am - 1:00pm]

Fee:  $10/participant (includes T-shirt and field trips)

Registration Information:

Steele Lane Site
:  Tuesday, April 28, 5-7:30pm at the Steele Lane Community Center (415 Steele Lane)

Lincoln Site:  Wednesday, April 29, 6-8:30pm at the Finley Community Center (2060 West College Avenue)

Monroe Site:  Thursday, April 30, 6-8:30pm at the Finley Community Center (2060 West College Avenue)

All Site Make-Up Registration:  Friday, May 1, 6-8:30pm at the Finley Community Center (2060 West College Avenue)

Please note that the registration process may take at least 1 hour, please plan accordingly.

*Attendance at these schools is not required.
