Lake Ralphine
is home to trout, bluegill, catfish and bass. Fish are caught throughout the year, and all California Department of Fish and Game regulations apply. 

Lake Rules: 

• No swimming or wading in the lake.
• No dogs allowed in the lake.
• Please clean up your fishing line, lures, and hooks so that park visitors (and wildlife) don't get hurt.
• Please remember the animals at Howarth Park are wild and can become overly excited when food is present.
• No fishing off the dock when the boathouse is in operation.

Stocking of Fish
The California Fish and Game Department typically stock Lake Ralphine in the spring and the fall. To seee a schedule of planned stocking for our region, click here 
Please note that we do NOT know exactly when the fish plant will occur.  Fish and Game does not provide more specific dates because they do not want fishing activity focused right after the time of the plant.
