ake Ralphine is home to trout, bluegill, catfish and bass. Fish are caught throughout the year, and all California Department of Fish and Game regulations apply.
Fishing Licenses
Fishing licenses are required for adults 16 years and older who are wishing to fish. Licenses are not required to assist your child. More about 2009 Fishing Licenses...
To find a location near you where you can purchase a fishing license
Lake Rules:
- No swimming or wading in the lake.
- No dogs allowed in the lake.
- Please clean up your fishing line, lures, and hooks so that park visitors (and wildlife) don't get hurt.
- Please remember the animals at Howarth Park are wild and can become overly excited when food is present.
- No fishing off the dock when the boathouse is in operation.
Boating on Lake Ralphine:
You can bring your own boat to Lake Ralphine.
Launch permits are REQUIRED during operating hours. ($2/day OR $10/season)
Permits can be purchased at the boat launch area during operating hours
Outboard motors OR boats over 20 feet in length are NOT permitted on the lake.
Electric motors ARE permitted on the lake.
