Here are a few things to know:
Call Ahead
Please call ahead and let us know you are coming! Due to the popularity of Howarth Park (the rides, playground, water feature, etc.) we get many visitors. It helps us to plan ahead when a group (of 25 people or more) is coming to the park.
Also - if there is a potential conflict - ie a huge event that impacts parking, or a group of 300 middle schoolers and you are bringing elementary aged students, we can let you know and try to avoid potential conflicts. Please call (707) 543-3282 to be placed on the Howarth Park calendar and to make sure there aren't any potential conflicts!
(There is NO fee/charge for bringing a group to Howarth Park)
Discounted Tickets and Boat Rentals
We can make arrangements to sell you ride tickets or boat rentals at a discounted price. Call Sarah at (707) 543-3298 to make arrangments. Your tickets/boats will be ready when you arrive!

End of the School Year Parties and Summer Groups
We also have a package with UNLIMITED rides on the train and carousel (and animal barn in the summer ONLY) for 2 hours. This is available for End of the School Year Parties, as well as for groups that come in the summer. Call (707) 543-3298 to make a reservation! |
Bus Parking
Bus parking is available. It is located near Summerfield road between the Tennis Courts and the Park Entrance. When driving into the park go up the hill until you reach the climbing wall. Turn left and circle around past the softball fields, tennis courts, and the small parking lot. Bus parking is on the right.

We have both reservable and first-come picnic areas! Please be sure you aware of the Park Policies when planning a your visit, so that we can keep Howarth Park safe and enjoyable for everyone!
