Director's Notes

Summertime gives children a great opportunity to try out something new or explore a favorite subject in more depth.  I’m really proud that since founding the Drama Camp program for the Parks & Recreation Department in 2004, the programs have continued to grow and develop in popularity year after year.  We have many children who look forward to drama camp all year long, and frankly, so do I!  These drama camps are a rich and unique program in Sonoma County because our structure includes lots of time for the children to interact and play together, in addition to preparing for the performance, and our partnership with the Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks Department and local schools enables us to offer the programs to families as one of the most affordable two week-long summer activity options.  If you’d like your child to join us, be sure to sign up early because the camps fill up quickly. Likewise, we are only able to offer two sessions of the Tiny Tots Theater Program for 4-6 year olds during the summer, so register early if you want your child to participate.
