"Fun on the Frontier"
(Week 1)

 Here’s your chance to go back to the days of the wagon train, when the buffalo ran across the plains and the Native Americans lived in Harmony with the land.   Each camp will enjoy a visit from Wildlife Associates as they present their “California Wild” animal show.  Doyle and Yu-chi campers will be taking a field trip to Full House Farm where we will have lunch, see how cheese is made, sample fresh dairy goods, and maybe even milk a cow!   Campers will also learn about the life cycle of the Salmon!

  "Awesome Outer Space Week"
(Week 2)

The stars and outer space will captivate us as we launch into another exciting week of camp.  Whether we travel through black holes, explore new worlds, or encounter aliens remains to be seen as we explore “Space, the Final Frontier”.   All 3 camps will enjoy a visit from storyteller extraordinaire, Georgia Churchill.  Camp Yu-Chi and Doyle Adventure Camp will explore the farthest reaches of ESCAPE- Laser Tag Center!*  

PLEASE NOTE: The field trip for this week entails “Laser Tag” – a game where campers will get to zap each other with laser light pistols.  Participants for this week of camp must be 6 years of age by the 1^st day of the session, NO EXCEPTIONS!

  "International Vacation!"
(Week 3)

Welcommen!  Buenos dias! Bonjur!  Buongiorno!  Cheerio!  Hello and welcome to International Week!  Each group will represent a different country and participate in an international Camp Festival!  Traditional Crafts will be made so that campers may further experience the wonders of several different cultures!  Doyle Adventure Camp and Camp Yu-Chi will enjoy a trip to the French Riviera (Doran Beach)

 PLEASE NOTE:  Lifeguards will be present and campers will not be allowed to "swim" in the water. 

  "Noble Knights and Dazzling Dragons!"
(Week 4)

Chivalry will abound as campers and counselors alike seek adventure in the time of dragons and damsels!  Campers will make their very own coat of arms to display on home made shields.  All 3 camps will round out the week with a visit from Ranger Steve and his loveable lizards!  Doyle and Yu-Chi campers will enjoy golf and games* at Scandia! 

*PLEASE NOTE: Campers will not be allowed to play any games which are deemed "violent" in nature.

 'Dancing Through the Decades"
(Week 5)

Let’s go back in time and “rock around the clock” as we experience a sock hop from the 50's and Kaleidoscopes and Tie Dye from the 60's.  All 3 camps will enjoy a Timeless Jamboree filled with Pizzazz!  (Hula Hoops, bubble gum blowing contests, root beer floats and bead making).  Doyle and Yu-Chi Campers will enjoy an adventurous day at Expedition Island.* 

*Please Note that the field trip listed in the Spring/ Summer 2012 Activity Guide was "Bowling".  This field trip has been changed to Expedition Island.  All participants must have a signed liability release form to participate in the field trip- NO EXCEPTIONS.  Forms will be available on the first day of camp or online through the "Expedition Island" Website.

Week 6

 "Big Top Summer Camp"
Week 7

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, welcome to the greatest camp on earth!  Come clown around with our camp counselors under the Big Top!   Each camp will enjoy an awesome magic show from a professional magician.   Doyle Adventure Camp will enjoy a trip to Howarth Park where they will visit the animal barn, ride the carousel, train and go boating on Lake Ralphine!*  Doyle and Adventure Camp and camp Yu-Chi will enjoy a day climbing death defying heights at Vertex Climbing Center*

*PLEASE NOTE:  Camp Yu-Chi will not be visiting Howarth Park for field trip as advertised in the Activity Guide. 

**PLEASE NOTE:  All campers at Doyle and Yu-Chi will need to complete a Liabilty Waiver for the Vertex Field trip.  These waivers will be available online at the Vertex website and on the first day at each  camp location

 Ye Ol’ Robin Hood Week 
(Week 8)

Hear Ye!, Hear Ye!  Join the merry men and merry maidens as camp is transformed into beautiful Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood.  Campers will earn the fine art of archery and make their very own arrowhead pendants!  A visit from Maid Marion and the Sheriff of Nottingham may also be in store, so be sure to keep your eyes on those T-Shirts!  All 3 camps will enjoy stories from the always entertaining, Georgia Churchill!  Doyle and Yu-Chi Campers will enjoy a fun filled day of bouncing at Pump It UP*!

 *PLEASE NOTE:  The field trip listed in the Spring/Summer 2012 Activity Guide was "Armstrong Woods".  This field trip has been changed to "Pump It UP".  All participants must turn in a signed liability release form prior to the field trip.  These forms will be available the first day of camp or on the Pump It Up website.

Mystery Week
(Week 9)

Campers will become detectives as they try to solve the big camp mystery!  A lesson from Sherlock Holmes and plenty of clues will help keep campers on their toes!  What will the camps craft be?  Where will Doyle Adventure Camp be off to?  Sign up and See!   Who knows what animals might show up when Wildlife Associates will visits on Thursday, and all of Camp Wa-Tam is sure to be surprised when the Dinner menu is revealed! 

Wet, Wild and Wacky
(Week 10)

Come join us for a wild week of water games and wacky fun.  Whether it's surfing the slip and slide or splashing your counselor at Spring Lake or the pool, you are sure to find plenty of ways to beat the heat during this very wet, very wild, and extremly wacky week!
