Doyle Adventure Camp
Ages: 6-12
 

"Here Comes the Bus!" . . .  the City of Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department in cooperation with Citybus, is once again offering this exciting day camp!  This adventurous day camp program is held in Doyle Park for children between the ages of 6 and 12.  Regular camp activites include games, songs, skits, crafts, special guests and special events.  Where the "adventure" begins is with the 3-4 CityBus excursions to local destinations!  Wednesdays and Fridays campers will head to the Ridgway Swim Center for an afternoon of swimming.  One or two additional "field trips" are included during the week.   Please note:  All field trips are subject to change!  

Days: Monday - Friday 
Times: 10:30 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Optional extended hours: 7:45 am - 10:30 am (for an additional fee)

Cost:  $155 (resident)/$165 (non-resident)

 Camp Groups

Can my child be
grouped with a friend?

In order for requests to be considered, BOTH campers must request each other at the time of registration.  Only one friend request is allowed.  Tribes/Groups are divided by age so that the activities can be tailored accordingly, so please be sure that the friends requesting one another are of similar age (by one year).  We strive to maintain a group size of between 15-17 and will not rearrange groups if this number is compromised.  We will try to accomodate all requests, however we cannot guarantee placement.  Only requests made prior to the first day of camp will be considered.

Counselors and Staff
Each group of 15 to 17 campers is supervised by one counselor, one counselor aide, and 2-3 CIT's (counselors-in-training).  Our counselors are college age students and our counselor aides are high school age.  All of our staff and volunteers attend a one week inservice training program to learn how to lead the various activities in a fun and safe manner.
