Traditional Day Camps
Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks has provided over 50 years of quality day camps ! Camp Wa-Tam, located in Howarth Park, is the most popular day camp in town, hosting 130 campers per week each summer. Kids enjoy camp songs, skits, crafts, games, hikes, archery, canoeing and lots of fun at Camp Wa-Tam each spring and summer! Equal in quality and popularity are Wa-Tam's two sister camps, Doyle Adventure Camp and Camp Yu-Chi. Doyle Adventure Camp, located in Doyle Community Park, began in 1993. Then in 1996 Camp Yu-Chi was created in Youth Community Park, on the west side of town. All three camps have the same highly trained, fun- loving staff and same great activities, but each has its own style and flair!

Specialty Day Camps
Recreation & Parks also offers a variety of fun, creative and challenging specialty day camps and workshops at different locations throughout Santa Rosa. Kidscience Camp, Engineering with Legos Camp, Rock Climbing Camp, Martial Arts Camp, Creative Arts Camp, and Drama Camp a very popular and offer kids lots of different choices for summer fun.
