JEFF GLAUTHIER: MEANDERING

February 7 - March 23, 2017

Jeff has been painting and drawing all of his life. His impressionist/expressionist watercolor paintings are of local scenes that capture the feeling and light of place, using ancient Japanese colors. These landscapes are like snapshots of the regions that Jeff explores on foot. The majority of them were painted at the Southeast Greenway near his home in Sonoma County. Accompanying the exhibit is a map that shows where the paintings were made.

SONOMA COUNTY PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP: BEYOND THE GRAVE

March 28 - May 11, 2017

Reception: Wednesday, March 29, 4-6pm

Sonoma County Photography Group is a gathering of professional and semi-professional photographers who are thrilled to give back to the community. In support of the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery, they worked with the historical society to capture themed photographs with a haunting view of the past. These images recreate the early Sonoma County residents who were laid to rest here from the 1850s through the 1930s.
