ART EXHIBITIONS

Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks invites artists to exhibit their artwork for the encouragement and development of artistic expression and to foster greater appreciation for art in our community. Art exhibitions are continuously on display at the City Hall Council Chambers, Finley Community Center and Steele Lane Community Center. Click on the venue links at left to see current and upcoming exhibitions.

 

CALL FOR ARTISTS

Are you an artist in Sonoma or Marin County? Apply here to exhibit with us! Interested artists can apply year-round by submitting an application, available online here PDF, or in person at Finley Community Center or Steele Lane Community Center. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, but for priority consideration for the 2015 calendar year, please submit applications by July 31, 2014.

**We still have space for three dimensional work in the Person Senior Wing Cases in 2014. Please submit your applications ASAP if interested!**

THE NATIONAL ARTS PROGRAM IN SANTA ROSA

Santa Rosa, show your creativity!

Awards! Prizes! Scholarships!

   

The National Arts Program® exhibit and competition is designed to honor the creativity which lies in us all. This annual program, co-sponsored by the City of Santa Rosa and the National Arts Program Foundation, allows residents of Santa Rosa or City of Santa Rosa employees and their families to enter one piece of artwork in an exhibition at Finley Community Center, 2060 West College Ave, Santa Rosa.

Registration is FREE and open to all ages and levels of experience. Cash prizes and art class scholarships are awarded in adult and youth categories. Santa Rosa is one of 78 venues across the country hosting National Arts Program exhibitis and we are celebrating our 11th year! Be a part of this exciting celebration of our community's creativity.

RECEPTION & AWARDS CEREMONY
Sunday, March 2, 3:00-5:00pm

All artists and the public are invited to this event at Finley Community Center. Celebrate our community's creativity, meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments and music. The awards ceremony portion begins at 4:00pm.

There is no fee to register to enter a piece, and the exhibition is open to young and old artists alike, amateur through professional.

The National Arts Program was established in 1985 by the National Arts Program Foundation to inspire, acknowledge and reward creative accomplishments throughout the nation.
