Santa Rosa has been hosting an annual National Arts Program exhibit for 9 years, featuring the artwork of City of Santa Rosa employees (or family members of employees) and Santa Rosa residents. There is no fee to register to enter a piece, and the exhibition is open to young and old artists alike, amateur through professional. Prizes are awarded for adult and youth categories, as well as scholarships to take art classes. The National Arts Program was established in 1985 by the National Art Foundation to inspire, acknowledge and reward creative accomplishments throughout the nation. The program began as a pilot project in Philadelphia and has extended nationally to include 89 venues in 42 states. To learn more about this program, click here.

For questions or for volunteer & sponsorship opportunities call Elaine Gutsch, Arts Specialist, at (707) 543-3279.
