ART EXHIBITIONS

Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks invites artists to exhibit their artwork for the encouragement and development of artistic expression and to foster greater appreciation for art in our community. Art exhibitions are continuously on display at the City Hall Council Chambers, Finley Community Center and Steele Lane Community Center. Click on the venue links at left to see current and upcoming exhibitions.

Are you an artist in Sonoma or Marin County? Apply here to exhibit with us! Interested artists can apply year round by submitting an application, available in person at the Finley Community Center, Steele Lane Community Center, or online here . Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, but for priority consideration for the 2014 calendar year, please submit applications by July 31, 2013.

Santa Rosa is the proud recipient of the Tenth Anniversary Award from The National Arts Program® for Ten Years of Bringing Art Forward! 

The National Arts Program® exhibit and competition is designed to honor the creativity which lies in us all. This fantastic program, co-sponsored by the City of Santa Rosa and the National Arts Program Foundation, allows residents of Santa Rosa or City of Santa Rosa employees and their families -all ages- to enter one piece of artwork in an exhibition at Finley Community Center, 2060 West College Ave, Santa Rosa.

RECEPTION & AWARDS CEREMONY
Sunday, March 3, 4:00 - 6:00pm

All artists and the public are invited to this event at Finley Community Center. Celebrate our community's creativity, meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments and music. The awards ceremony portion begins at 5:00pm.

REGISTRATION INFO
Registration is closed for 2013. If you are interested in participating next year, entry forms will be available starting in mid-November, 2013 for the 2014 exhibit. 

There is no fee to register to enter a piece, and the exhibition is open to young and old artists alike, amateur through professional. All the details, rules, and deadlines are explained on the registration brochure or the website, where you can register online.

The National Arts Program was established in 1985 by the National Arts Program Foundation to inspire, acknowledge and reward creative accomplishments throughout the nation.
