Maintenance Aide
Starts at $9.83/hr
Unders supervision, performs routine maintenance of the city's two swim facilities and grounds to ensure they are clean and in good repair. Typical tasks include; empty trash receptacles, check and replace paper products in restrooms, hose down decks, vacuum pools, mow lawns, sweep sidewalks, and entry areas and other assigned duties. Minimum qualifications include knowledge of basic cleaning equipment, supplies, and related methods and materials. Must have ability to use hand tools, some power tools, lawnmower and capable of learning the use of other necessary equipment. Must be able to lift 60lbs and be able to work safely in or around water.

| Lifeguard
Starts at $9.57/hr
Responsible for the safety of patrons at the Ridgway Swim Center and the Finley Aquatic Complex. Lifeguards will be required to attend bi-weekly staff trainings and a week long in-service training. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional and Title 22 First Aid are required.

Swim Instructor
Starts at $9.83/hr
Organize and instruct swim classes for all levels of swimming. Instructors will be required to complete course record sheets and student progress cards. Swim instructors will be required to attend bi-weekly staff training and a week long in-service training. American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification is desirable.

Front Desk Reception
Starts at $9.83/hr
Responsible for the daily operation of the front office. Receptionists will be taking registrations for programs, answering phone calls, daily admissions to the aquatic center and other miscellaneous office related duties. Minimum qualifications include; computer proficiency, great customer service skills and good organizational skills.

Concession Host
Starts at $8.00/hr
Hosts provide assistance to Aquatic Center patrons by selling food, drink and miscellaneous items from poolside snack bars. Host must handle money, keep accurate records of sales, and clean and maintain the facility. Hosts must be computer proficient, friendly, courteous, and have an ability to think quickly and work fast.
