Scuba Diving
Ages 10-17 may take this course, however, must be accompanied by Parent, Guardian or responsible adult for the duration of the course. Ages 10-17 must be approved by facility coordinator.
Learn to scuba dive through the P.A.D.I. certification program taught for Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks by the Pinnacles Dive Center. Students should have basic swimming ability and will need their own mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves, and books (all available at the Pinnacles Dive Center-ask about student discounts).
After completion of this pool course, and in order to receive your full P.A.D.I. certification, you will need to make four certification dives, either on the Sonoma Coast, Monterey Bay, Santa Barbara (boat dives) or on a tropical vacation. Certification dives are an additional course and start at just $100.00 plus certification fee of $25.00 and any equipment rentals.
