Gang Prevention Awareness Week
August 4 - 11, 2012

Join us at a series of fun and safe events showcasing the community’s efforts to reduce gang activity. At each of these events staff will be on hand to explain how you can help support Santa Rosa’s gang prevention efforts. All events are FREE of charge.

Please join us … it takes a community to protect our youth from gang activity.

August 4, 2012
6:00 -11:00 pm

Family Night & Movie in the Park
(Despicable Me)

Jacobs Park - 850 West Ninth Street, Santa Rosa

Enjoy carnival activities and then settle on the lawn just after sunset for a special screening of Despicable Me. 

August 5, 2012
12:30 – 3:30 pm

4th Annual José Tamayo Boxing
Exhibition with The Salvation Army’s
Double Punches Boxing Club

Santa Rosa Plaza - 1071 Santa Rosa Plaza, Santa Rosa
 

Watch youth compete in friendly, but spirited boxing match-ups all afternoon.
