Tour Season!
Carriage House Museum and Gift Shop
Open April 1, 2010

Tours: Docent-led drop-in tours of the Burbank Home, Greenhouse and a portion of the gardens are offered every half-hour Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., April 1 through October 31. Tours are available for a nominal fee.

Free Garden Cell Phone Audio Tours: Enjoy a leisurely tour of the Gardens using your cell phone. There are 28 stops to hear the history and view Mr. Burbank's plants, including the Spineless cactus, Paradox walnut tree, Plumcot and many others. The free tour is available daily, year-round from 8 a.m. to dusk.  Follow the instructions on the signs in the Garden.

Museum and Gifts: The Carriage House Museum and Gift Shop is open Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., April 1 through October 31. Buy gifts now - through the Web.

Special Group Tours: Group Tours and Children's Tours are available year-round by advance reservation. For information, call the office at 707-524-5445, or email your request to burbankhome@lutherburbank.org.

Gardens: Gardens are open daily throughout the year without charge from 8:00 a.m. to dusk (7:00 p.m. during Tour Season). Self-guided tours daily.

Mother's Day & Plant Sale

The first 200 ladies who visit our Gardens on Mother's Day, May 9, will receive a fresh flower corsage. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but come early while the supply lasts.

We will have an exceptional selection of plants to fill your spring/summer garden!

2008 Rose Parade float entry

Luther Burbank Rose Parade

Downtown Santa Rosa comes alive with a community parade and Burbank's Gardens are blooming with color. Look for our1926 Dodge Estate Wagon in the parade. The Carriage House Museum and Gift Shop are open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with tours available.

Luther Burbank Midsummer Garden Tea Victorian Lady

Midsummer Garden Tea

Enjoy a charming reminder of bygone days. Join us for afternoon tea at 1p.m. in our beautiful gardens. We will serve buttery scones, succulent savories, delicious desserts, with a selection of teas. This is a set menu; special food requests cannot be accommodated. Call 524-5445 for reservation information. Tickets are $40 per person and seating is limited. Wear your loveliest hat and win first prize! Complimentary house tour at 3:00 p.m. (This event would also be appropriate for guests 8 years and older.)

End of Tour Season

The Carriage House Museum and Gift Shop close on October 31, 2010. Drop-in tours are offered again on April 1, 2011. (Contact the office at 524-5445 for group tour information.) The Gardens are open for free self-guided tours year-round from 8:00 a.m. until dusk.  And be sure to enjoy our free cell phone audio tours year round.

Luther Burbank Holiday Open House Wreath

31st Annual
Holiday Open House

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $2 per person. Enjoy a 31-year community tradition with festive holiday decorations and good cheer, fresh baked cookies and tea served in the Greenhouse, as well as a children's craft table. The Carriage House Gift Shop will be filled with new and unique gift items for sale. Return in time to the Victorian era with turn-of-the-century style decorations inside and outside the Burbank Home and Greenhouse.
