Lake Ralphine Assistant (Howarth Park)	Counselor-In-Training (Camp Wa-Tam, Doyle Camp, Camp Yu-Chi)

Animal Barn Aide (Howarth Park)	Leader-In-Training (Playground Program)

Amusement Ride Area Assistant (Howarth Park)	Junior Lifeguard (Finley or Ridgway Swim Centers)

Swim Aide (Finley or Ridgway Swim Centers)	Concession Aides (Finley or Ridgway Swim Centers)
	NOTE: These are unpaid volunteer positions.
Museum Aide (Luther Burbank Home and Garden)	NOTE: These are unpaid volunteer positions.

Teens are not guaranteed their first choice of programs. Placement is based on the needs of the participant, along with the needs of the program. All teens must attend orientation night and the training sessions in order to participate in the program. Teens must be 13 years old by June 3, 2013 to participate in the Work Experience Program.

Important Dates

March 1st: Work Experience Applications Available.

April 1st: Work Experience Information Night at Steele Lane. 7:00pm - 8:00pm. Recommended for first time Work Experience participants. Optional for 2nd and 3rd year volunteers.

April 12th: All Work Experience Applications are due. Applications should be dropped off or mailed to the Finley or Steele Lane Community Centers.

Sunday, April 14th: Work Experience Participants call 543-3428 or 543-3427 between the hours of 9:00am - 1:00pm to schedule an interview.

Monday, April 15th: Work Experience Participants call 543-3428 or 543-3427 between the hours of 4:00pm - 8:00pm to schedule an interview.

Tuesday, April 16th: Work Experience Applicants call 543-3428 or 543-3427 between the hours of 4:00pm - 8:00pm to schedule an interview.

Wednesday, April 17th: Work Experience Participants call 543-3428 or 543-3427 between the hours of 4:00pm - 8:00pm to schedule an interview.

Saturday, April 20th: Work Experience Interviews at the FINLEY CENTER. 9:00am- 5:30pm.

Monday, April 22nd: Work Experience Interviews at the STEELE LANE COMMUNITY CENTER.

Tuesday, April 23rd: Work Experience Interviews at the STEELE LANE COMMUNITY CENTER.

Wednesday, April 24th: Work Experience Interviews at the STEELE LANE COMMUNITY CENTER.

May 15th: Work Experience Orientation Night at the Finley Center, 7:15pm - 8:30pm. All participants must attend.

Training Week (Mandatory)
All applicants must attend orientation and all training dates for the specific program for which they will be working. Specific training dates and times vary, depending on programs.
