Ventura Avenue Improvements - Paulin Drive to Bicentennial Way

Description: This project will construct roadway and utility improvements along Ventura Avenue from Bicentennial Way to Paulin Drive. The utility inprovements will consist of replacing the existing sewer facilities, selected water services, and upgrading a portion of the storm drain system. Roadway improvements will consist of reconstructing the existing pavement and widening the roadway along the east side of Ventura Avenue from Russell Drive to Bicentennial Way.



Current Activity Monday July 1 through July 14, 2014: All roadway and Utility work has been successfully completed. A sidewalk barricade at Ventura Avenue and Bicentennial Way is slated to be installed on July 7th, and minimal clean up will be done over the next 2 weeks.

NO NEW Traffic Detours: NO TRAFFIC DETOURS are expected for the remainder of the project and all traffic will be allowed through Ventura Avenue from Paulin Drive to Bicentennial Way with intermittent flagging to install traffic stripes and pavement markings and miscellaneous work. Public transit routes have been restored as of Monday June 16, 2014.
