Pre-K to 5th Grade School Programs

The Santa Rosa Police Department has several programs for elementary age children on safety and crime prevention. Our programs can be taken to Elementary School Sites, Day Care Facilities and Organized Youth Groups. We can also arrange to have McGruff our Crime Fighting Dog visit children during the presentations. These are the programs we currently offer.

• Safe Kids Program, 2nd to 5th grades (formally Stranger Danger)
• McGruff Safety Program, Pre-K to 1st Grades
• Police Officers are Our Friends
• Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety
