Domestic Violence / Sexual Assault Investigations Team
 
The Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault (DVSA) team investigates:
 
  • Child sexual abuse and molestation
  • Adult felony sexual assaults
  • Incidents of domestic violence which extend beyond the scope of patrol officers' expertise
  • Child felony physical abuse
  • Missing/abducted children
  • Homicides of children under 14 years of age
  • Suicides of children under 18 years of age
  • The DVSA Team registers convicted sex offenders living within City limits.  Information about registered sex offenders is available on California’s Megan's Law website.
