Domestic Violence / Sexual Assault Investigations Team
The Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault (DVSA) team investigates:
Child sexual abuse and molestation
Adult felony sexual assaults
Incidents of domestic violence which extend beyond the scope of patrol officers' expertise
Child felony physical abuse
Missing/abducted children
Homicides of children under 14 years of age
Suicides of children under 18 years of age
The DVSA Team registers convicted sex offenders living within City limits. Information about registered sex offenders is available on California’s Megan's Law website.
