City of Santa Rosa ADA Transition Planning meetings
The City's ADA Transition Planning Meetings consists of representatives including citizen's with disabilities, Community Resources for Independence, the Earle Baum Center of the Blind, the Community Housing Development Corporation, Becoming Independent, Council on Aging, North Bay Regional Center, and employee representatives. Meetings are held on a quarterly basis the fourth Wednesday of January, April, July, and October and are open to the public. These meetings were started in 2004 to assist the City with its polices, programs, facilities, and procedures to help remove any barriers that may exist for persons with disabilities. Information about this committee or meeting times and locations are posted on this web site and may also be obtained in alternate formats by contacting the City's ADA Coordinator.
ADA Meeting Information
The next ADA Transition Planning meeting will be April 21, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the New Utilities Administration Building in Training Room A at 35 Stony Point Road in Santa Rosa.
