The City of Santa Rosa serves 157,985 residents (year 2007) and the Roseland Fire Protection District with an additional 6,369 residents (year 2000) for a total poulation served of 164,354. The cost for the Fire Department Budget 2007-2008 (non-Measure O) is $27,009,459. The net cost to our citizens is about $164 per person per year for 8,760 hours of all risk fire and emergency service provided 24-hours a day 365 days a year.
