Transient Occupancy Tax

The Transient Occupancy Tax for the City of Santa Rosa is 9%. This tax is collected by all lodging establishments located within Santa Rosa City limits and is remitted to the City on or before the last day of the month following the close of each calendar quarter.

There is also a 3% City Tourism BIA that applies to all lodging establishments and a 2% Sonoma County Tourism BIA that applies to most lodging establishments. Please go to the links on the left for additional information about these 2 BIA’s.
