Homelessness
The City of Santa Rosa owns two homeless shelters operated by Catholic Charities, the Brookwood Shelter and the Samuel L. Jones Hall Shelter. The Brookwood Shelter, located in northeast Santa Rosa, provides shelter for 40 people. Samuel L. Jones Hall, located in southwest Santa Rosa, provides shelter for 80.
In addition to the two shelters, the City of Santa Rosa uses a portion of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and local funds to provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that provide homeless services.
