On an annual basis, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Rosa allocates funds for the development of affordable housing.  Among the funds that are available to the Housing Authority are Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program funds, both of which are provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The City of Santa Rosa also uses its In-lieu Fees and the Low-Moderate Income Housing Fund which is generated by the tax increment revenue generated from its Redevelopment Project areas to develop affordable housing units.
