The Department of Economic Development and Housing provides staff support to the Housing Authority and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Rosa, as well as the Economic Development Subcommittee and the Downtown Subcommittee of the City Council.

Our mission is to facilitate a positive business climate and encourage the development of existing and emerging industry clusters; effectively manage the community’s parking assets; revitalize blighted and economically disadvantaged areas; and develop and administer a variety of affordable housing programs.
